Narrative Framing
The structural choices that determine how a story is told and therefore understood.
Narrative framing is the editorial, dramatic, or rhetorical scaffolding that shapes which facts are foregrounded, which are minimized, and which moral conclusions a story invites.
Across documentary, journalism, and fiction, framing is never neutral; the Editorial Methodology treats framing as an object of analysis, not an unexamined backdrop.
